Myanmar Through Our Eyes

Nature-based carbon sink projects play a vital role in Myanmar and across Southeast Asia. Through afforestation, mangrove restoration, and blue carbon initiatives, these projects sequester significant amounts of CO₂ and help mitigate climate change. With abundant forest resources and wetland ecosystems, Southeast Asia—particularly Myanmar—has emerged as a key source of high-quality, removal-based carbon credits in the international market.

As global demand for carbon credit trading increases, ASEAN countries are actively developing carbon markets while aligning with international verification standards such as Verra and BeZero Carbon, ensuring transparency and credit integrity.

This video introduces Myanmar, the first country where AllO2 initiated its carbon projects. Through on-the-ground engagement, we demonstrate how nature-based solutions integrate land sustainability, biodiversity restoration, and community co-benefits. These projects not only expand forest cover and promote sustainable forest management but also stimulate local economies and attract carbon credit investment.

By leveraging satellite remote sensing and third-party verification, we strengthen project monitoring and risk management—ensuring long-term climate and financial impact.
